Back to Basics with Holistic Nutrition
I've always been interested in health and wellness and would always ask "Why?" when a health recommendation was given to me. I wanted to understand what was happening so that I could sustain any changes I needed to make, stay motivated and share any knowledge I'd learned with others who were on a similar path.
When I began having some health challenges of my own I saw a Naturopath. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and one of the recommendations given to me was switch to a gluten and dairy free diet. When I began feeling better by limiting these foods in my diet, I wanted to learn more! That's how I found Holistic Nutrition. I learned so much at school and now I know what I know and there is no going back! I knew I wanted to help others.
I believe in the relationship between food and optimal health. I believe that what we put in our mouths daily really matters and once we tune in to how our body feels, we intuitively begin to realize what our body needs in order to sustain us not only through the day but to eat for our long term health.
I believe that nutrition is a form of SELF CARE and I want to empower others to take control of their own health by addressing their own diet, lifestyle and mindset.
I am a Certified Culinary Nutrition Expert through the Academy of Culinary Nutrition and can't wait to enhance my services to support you in your cooking and healing journey.
As a Certified Nutritional Practitioner(CNP) I believe that the body has an innate way of protecting and healing itself. Holistic Nutrition is about looking at each person as an individual and understanding the factors that have contributed to health or dis-ease. We look for the root cause of ill health and treat the issues, not the symptoms to get you back on the path to wellness.
We live in such a fast paced, frantic world that it's easy to forget that food is meant to nourish and fuel us.
My goal is to share information and empower you to make healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices that benefit your overall health and wellbeing. We all want to feel our best and there is so much information out there that it's hard to know where to start or what to believe. I'm here to help guide you through the journey to optimal health in the most simple and straightforward way and most importantly, in a way that works for YOU. There is no "one size fits all approach" and everyone needs a personalized plan.
I specialize in foundational nutrition. Really, it's about getting back to the basics. By focusing on the foods that nourish us and allow our body to work the way it was meant to will lead to change.
Just as it takes time to go down the slope of ill health, it takes time to build ourselves back up to optimal health. My goal is to help you and empower you to get there.
I believe it's the small changes that make the most impact and are sustainable over time. That's what really matters. My goal is to set you up for long term success and change your relationship with food.
Foundational nutritional consulting can help to address digestive issues, gut health, blood sugar issues, weight management, sleep, hormones, energy and more.
What will we do together?
We will review your health history (so we know what contributing factors may be affecting you), assess your diet and lifestyle factors (stress, sleep, nutrient deficiencies, digestive difficulties, allergies/intolerances, etc.) and discuss your goals. Together we will come up with a plan that addresses your goals.

I graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition with First Class Honours and received a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition in 2019. I am a certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) and am a member of the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners with a designation of NNCP, Natural Nutrition-Clinical Practitioner.
I am a Culinary Nutrition Expert after graduating with Honours from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition in December 2022.
I have taken additional courses and earned certificates in: Mental Health and Nutrition Hormones and Endocrinology.
